Community groups move to install washroom facilities for vulnerable people in CBRM

As noted in the Cape Breton Post, community groups have move to install washroom facilities for vulnerable people in CBRM.

If you are in need of such facilities, please see this update from some of our community partners regarding hygiene sites in CBRM.

The sites will be open Monday to Saturday (closed Sunday) for showers, bathroom use, tea/coffee/snacks, and personal hygiene products. Please, tell their friends who may need this support as well.

1. 152 Bentinck Street, Sydney, house next door to the Ally Centre

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

2. Undercurrent Youth Centre – 75 Prince St, Sydney (across from Dr. Luke’s on corner of Prince and Bentinck Street)

3. Undercurrent Youth Centre – Glace Bay, 224 York Street

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

4. Community Cares Youth Outreach, 55 King Street, Sydney Mines

10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
